Our Testimonials
Dear Brookstown Inn,
I wanted to share with you the absolute delightful experience I had while a guest at your hotel.
On Sunday, March 15th, I drove 5 1/2 hours to Winston-Salem from Northern Virginia to visit my daughter (a medical student at Wake Forest University). Earlier in the week, I had reserved a
regular room with a queen-sized bed at the Brookstown Inn. My daughter accompanied me to
check-in to the hotel around 2pm on Sunday. I knew that I was about an hour early for the posted check-in time, but I just wanted to see if my room was ready. The very nice front desk person, Tyler, said that my room was not ready and instead of saying "please come back in an hour", he said
"we'll be happy to upgrade you to a suite at the same price". Tyler proceeded to check me in and
give me the key to Room # 224. My daughter and I walked down to the room and could hardly
believe the wonderful, spacious accomodations and we soon realized that my daugher would
be able to sleep on the sofa bed that night. Since we only had one day to visit with one another -
the fact that we could stay in the same room and relax and talk all night was such a gift!
Thank you so much for all of this hospitality - I am bringing my husband back for the next visit to
the Brookstown Inn. We will be guests this summer and this fall and then into 2010 and 2011,
because that's how long my daughter will be in Winston-Salem. I can't wait to see the courtyard
with the trees in bloom, etc.
Please know, how happy your Inn made this guest and how impressive and welcoming the
decor was ~ look forward to our next stay!
Very Sincerely,
Amy Trumbull
